Attempted Vehicle Thefts

We are reminding residents to please be mindful and keep your vehicle locked at all times. Remove all valuables from display as well as any cash or anything of value.

In recent weeks, unknown persons have been seen to trying car door handles in an attempt to break into them and potentially steal items. This has predominantly being happening in the Bank Street area of Tunstall but there have been instances in other areas as well so please be mindful regardless of where you leave your vehicle. 

If you see anything suspicious or witness a crime taking place then please contact us on 999 in the case of an emergency or 101 in a non-emergency.
